東漸寺では日本から持ってきて今は飾ることがなく押入れで眠っているひな人形、五月人形、藤娘人形などの供養を行うことにしました。
お寺で「お焚き上げ」は法律の理由で出来ませんので、集められた人形は本堂で飾って住職が供養したあと、地元のリサイクル業者に渡して焼却又はリサイクルしてもらいます。
つきまして、法要は下通り開催いたします。

注意事項：
今回はひな人形、五月人形、藤娘人形に限定します。ぬいぐるみ、こけしは受け取りません。
ひな壇、飾り台は受け取りません。
人形が入っている紙箱はリサイクルします。
供養の参拝は歓迎します。
当日のお越しの場合、本堂で人形を飾ることが出来ます。
4月22日（月）から人形の預かりが出来ますが、事前にお寺に電話して下さい。

Japanese Doll Memorial Service at Tozenji Temple
Tozenji Temple has decided to conduct a memorial service for Japanese childhood dolls such as Hina girls’ dolls and Satsuki boys’ dolls, as well as Fuji Musume dolls brought from Japan but currently not displayed or forgotten in storage.
As the cremation ceremony “Otakiage” cannot be held due to legal reasons, we have decided to collect and display the dolls in the main hall. After our resident priest performs a memorial ceremony, the dolls will be handed over to a local recycling company for incineration or recycling.
The memorial service will be held as follows:

Memorial Fee:
For dolls up to 15cm tall: $5 per doll
For dolls up to 30cm tall: $10 per doll
For dolls over 30cm tall: Please inquire

A complete set of hina dolls (dolls and accessories) for dolls up to 15cm tall: $35
Payment accepted in cash, check, or E-transfer until the day of the event.
※The Memorial Fee includes the fee charged by the recycling company.
Notes:
Only Hina dolls, Satsuki dolls, and Fuji Musume dolls will be accepted. Stuffed animals and kokeshi dolls will not be accepted this time.
Hina altar and display stands will not be accepted.
Cardboard boxes for doll storage will be recycled.
Everyone is welcome to attend the memorial service.
If you come on the day of the event, you can display your dolls in the main hall.
Dolls can be dropped off from April 22th (Monday), but please call the temple in advance.
